Use the guide to compare scope—not to replace an inspection
Utah Plumbing Prices is an educational price-discovery resource. These terms explain the boundary between public guidance, an automated comparison, and a final quote from a licensed plumbing contractor.

What the site provides
The service and city guides organize common residential plumbing price questions into scope, included work, change conditions, and questions to ask. They are designed to make a proposal easier to read, not to diagnose an unseen system.
Data-backed comparison
The checker compares the answers and submitted amount with a mapped benchmark or range. The result is a screening signal based on the selected scope, not a bid, appraisal, guarantee, or finding that a contractor acted improperly.
Human quote review
A submitted review packet asks a plumber to evaluate the written scope and supporting files. A service agreement exists only if the customer and contractor separately accept a final written quote and any applicable scheduling or service terms.
No emergency response
Do not use this site as an emergency dispatcher. For immediate danger, fire, gas odor, uncontrolled flooding, sewage exposure, or another unsafe condition, move to a safe location and contact the appropriate utility or emergency service.

Price and timing limitations
Plumbing work changes when the diagnosis, quantity, material, access, permit authority, concealed condition, restoration, or responsibility changes. The site cannot promise that a property matches the answers entered.
Ranges can change
Benchmarks and guides are reviewed over time, but supply cost, labor availability, adopted requirements, market conditions, and contractor scope can change before the page is updated.
Your answers matter
A result is only as useful as the selected service, city, amount, and job details. If the proposal covers different work or includes something the checker did not ask about, the comparison may be wrong.
Under-30-minute response
The stated response time is a usual operational target, not a guarantee. Availability, after-hours timing, file clarity, safety issues, and the need for inspection can delay a final answer.
Final responsibility stays written
Only the contractor issuing a final quote can define what it includes, what it excludes, how changes are approved, and what warranty or permit responsibility applies.

Submitting a quote, photo, or video
Only upload information you are authorized to share and that is reasonably needed to understand the plumbing job. The form is not a place for payment-card data, government identifiers, medical records, passwords, or unrelated private material.
Your permission to review
By submitting content, you give the site operator and the identified reviewing contractor permission to store, copy, transmit, resize, display internally, and analyze that content only as reasonably needed to operate the request, protect the system, and improve aggregate price guidance.
Your responsibility
You represent that your submission is accurate to the best of your knowledge and that you have the right to share it. Do not upload another person’s private information without authority.
File limits and retention
The system may reject unsupported, unsafe, oversized, or excessive files. Accepted files follow the private retention policy described in the Privacy Policy and remain attached to the quote research and review record.
No public contractor accusation
Do not use company-name or notes fields for threats, harassment, knowingly false claims, or publication campaigns. Quote-source information is kept private for comparison and operational review.

Text messages and contact
A quote-review submission requires the displayed consent checkbox before messages are sent about that request. Consent is not a condition of purchasing plumbing service through another channel.
Message purpose
Messages may confirm receipt, ask for measurements or additional photos, clarify scope, provide the final quote, or coordinate the requested follow-up.
Rates and delivery
Message and data rates may apply. Carrier delivery is not guaranteed, and a delayed or failed text does not create an accepted appointment or service agreement.
Opt out
Reply STOP to opt out of further texts. You may also communicate a clear revocation request through a reasonable available channel. An opt-out does not erase records that must be kept for security, consent evidence, or an active service matter.
Contact accuracy
Provide a phone number you control and a working email if you choose to include one. We may decline or pause a request when the contact channel is invalid, misleading, abusive, or cannot be verified.

Fair use, ownership, and disputes
The guides, questionnaire structure, graphics, copy, and software are owned by or licensed to the site operator. Public links may be shared, but the site and data may not be copied into a competing commercial product without permission.
Three checks per day
The independent checker is limited to three checks per visitor or network identifier each day. Do not bypass limits, automate submissions, probe private endpoints, interfere with security, or scrape protected pricing data.
Partner embeds
An authorized partner may display the portable widget. The widget should identify Utah Plumbing Prices as the price-check source and identify the company receiving a submitted quote request before contact information is sent.
Service provided as available
The site may be corrected, changed, paused, or withdrawn. To the extent permitted by law, the operator is not responsible for decisions made from incomplete submissions, third-party proposals, service interruptions, or conditions the site could not inspect.
Utah law and contact
These terms are governed by applicable Utah and federal law. Questions about the site or these terms may be sent to [email protected]. If one provision cannot be enforced, the remaining provisions continue.
